Our Story
Lifelong
Firearms enthusiast
I've been an avid firearms enthusiast since the first time my dad let me shoot a very old bolt action Mossberg 464 as a young boy. The interest has never waned, I am an avid shooter, collector, history nerd and all around firearms enthusiast from plinking, to USPSA to PRS to Tactical Games. I'm a US Army and law enforcement veteran. I have an associates degree in firearms technology, have attended various armorer courses for most common weapon systems. But most importantly I've spent a lot of time and money learning things the hardway, so maybe you don't have to.
Who We Are
Texas-Born. Federally Licensed.
Texan Ordnance is a federally licensed firearms dealer (FFL) and Special Occupational Taxpayer (SOT) based in Bastrop, Texas. We serve responsible gun owners, collectors, law enforcement, and professionals across the state.
Our founder brings a background in military service and professional armorer training to every job. That means attention to detail, zero shortcuts, and a commitment to doing things right — every single time.
We're not a big-box store. We're your local, trusted source for FFL transfers and armorer work — the kind of shop where you're treated like a neighbor, not a transaction.
